Happy Birthday, Sweet Angel.

Tuesday, January 13th, 2009. Gabriella would have been one year old on this day. Our celebration was sad, but with joy, in remembering our precious Gabbie. We made pics, wrote letters, decorated, made cupcakes and placed fresh flowers in her room. See Gabbie's blog for more in dept info of the day.

(Doll showing is a life like one that Teresa received for Christmas to give her comfort. She dressed the Gabbie-doll in her Christening dress/shoes for the birthday)

A Man and His Dog.

I love this pic of my son, Joshua with his dog, Samson. (Sammy) Had to include it!

Where's My Video, Grandma?

Angelina and I were looking at this new blogsite, since returning from her Christmas trip and she noticed right away that I didn't have a video with her having some fun. She was right. So I added one for her from this past summer. Teresa took it at an angle, so just tip your head to the left a bit and it is still quite enjoyable! Video is proof that Angelina (like the rest of us!) needs more cardio workout! Attached also are some cute pics from that same day-a Navy event outing.

Some Favorite Gabbie Pics.

Some Favorite Gabbie & Family Pics.

Some Favorite Gabbie & Me Pics.

Gabriella Christina Mayo

Anyone who has access to reading this blog, I am certain has been following our year 2008 where our beautiful Gabriella was born on January 13, 2008 via complications & C-section, had multiple defects with obstacles while still perservering and giving our family nine wonderful months of memories, pictures and videos. A true miracle child. After her family gave her permission to "give up her fight", she peacefully went from her earthly mother and father's arms into the arms of her Heavenly Father-her creator, on October 12, 2008. To read more of Gabbie's life, I would ask you to refer to her blog, as it is painful at this time for me to write about her life and my many memories. I will, however, add some of my favorite pictures of her, my Angel, my #4 granddaughter, the third daughter of my son, Joshua and the first daughter of his new wife, Teresa. Gabriella was of El Salvadorean descent with her beautiful dark hair and eyes and fair skin. I will always know that I have a special Angel looking over me. Peace is finally hers, little Gabriella Christina Mayo.
